November 15, 2024: Canada Post announced it has commenced strike action this morning

As such, businesses or residents may experience delays in receiving business licence notices, final outstanding property tax and utility notices, payments, and other critical documents. For any outstanding balances, fees, or charges, daily interest may apply.

Business Licenses

All business licences expire on December 31 each year, and the City has already sent out licence renewal invoices for this year, which are due and payable by January 1, 2025.​

Business owners can renew their business licence online quickly and easily by visiting chilliwack.com/payments. Simply enter the account number and access code located on your renewal invoice and pay the balance due.

Property Taxes & Utility Bills

Residents can easily register for MyChilliwack, a secure, all-in-one online service that allows residents and businesses to sign up for and view  Tax and Utility bills (and current balances) online! You can also reprint Open Air Burning Permits, if applicable. It's easy to use, and all information is protected by private access codes.

Vendor Payment

We encourage vendors and customers working with the City to sign up for Direct Deposit by downloading and submitting our Supplier Direct Deposit Enrollment form. Please reach out to our Accounts Payable department at [email protected] for any questions regarding cheque payments.
