Increased Agency Collaboration
The following list of meetings to address homelessness, substance use and mental health issues needs at a local level take place monthly or throughout the year:
o Housing First Task Team.
o Situation Table.
o Vulnerable Populations in the Community – facilitated by Fraser Health staff at CGH and local service providers to discuss ways to improve services.
o Meetings with local Indigenous Elders.
o Ruth and Naomi’s Downtown Clean-Up Peer Initiative.
o Meetings with the Downtown BIA and service providers.
o Bi Weekly Shop Talk meetings, where front-line staff meet to share current successes and challenges, as well as agency updates. This meeting is facilitated through a partnership with the City and PCRS and supported by Reaching Home funding.
o Community Advisory Board meetings to implement the Reaching Home program at a local level.
o Community Safety Governance Committee meetings.
