The City of Chilliwack (City) is seeking Expressions of Interest (EIs) from qualified Proponents to advise during project design development stage and construct the “High Strength Wastewater Pre-treatment Facility Project” (the “Project”). The purpose of this Request for Expressions of Interest (RFEI) is to solicit submissions from Proponents, with expertise in construction management delivery of municipal and industrial wastewater treatment infrastructure projects. The City intends to select up to two (2) respondents to enter into negotiations with the City to achieve Preferred Proponent status.

This Request for Expressions of Interest (RFEI) outlines the opportunity for interested parties and is intended to identify qualified Proponents who have the resources and skills to successfully deliver the Project. This is intended to be a permissive document that stimulates comprehensive and innovative EIs. The City shall not be obligated in any manner to any Proponent whatsoever until a written agreement has been duly executed related to an approved Proposal.

The Project is funded by the City of Chilliwack and has an estimated construction budget of $15,000,000 with the major equipment cost equating to approximately $6,000,000 to $8,000,000 of the total estimated construction budget.
