The City of Chilliwack is seeking Expressions of Interest from Design-Build proponents to design and construct the following project:

• The objective of the project is to replace approximately 1740m of aging cast iron pipe with 200mm diameter ductile iron pipe on School Street, Yale Road West, Main Street, Princess Avenue and Wells Road

Sealed Expressions of Interest from interested parties must be clearly marked with the party’s name, address and "Main Street Water Main Replacement" must be received by the undersigned at the office of the City of Chilliwack not later than 3:00 p.m., local time, "March 04, 2003" and may be used to 'short list' the interested parties. Interested parties not possessing the complete expertise, i.e., both design and construction, will not be considered. A maximum of 3 interested parties will subsequently be invited to submit detailed proposals.

RFEI documents may be obtained from the City's Engineering Department on or after February 11, 2003, or, can be downloaded from the City’s website at www.chilliwack.com/bids. An information meeting will be held on Monday, February 24, 2003 10:00am at the committee room in the Municipal Hall, in Chilliwack.
