Chilliwack’s Canada Day Event Moving to Exhibition Field June 14, 2024

Chilliwack, BC: After a full day of activities for the whole family, Canada Day in Chilliwack will light up the sky this year at the event’s new location in Exhibition Field (9145 Corbould Street). 

Residents are invited to start off the day with a delicious $5 Sardis Kiwanis pancake breakfast at Evergreen Hall (9291 Corbould Street) from 8 – 11 am, before enjoying a variety of free activities around Chilliwack.

During the day, the Chilliwack Museum will offer free admission to its Refuge Canada Exhibition from 11 am – 3 pm, and there will be free swims at both the Landing Leisure Centre and the Cheam Leisure Centre from 7 am – 8:30 pm. The Chilliwack Coliseum will also host a free community skate from 11 am – 1 pm, the Sardis Sports Complex will host a free skate from 11 am – 12:30 pm, and Cottonwood 4 Cinemas will offer free admission from 12 – 4 pm. 

In the evening, head to the new Canada Day location in Exhibition Field (9145 Corbould Street) at 5 pm on July 1 for live music and entertainment, food trucks, and a variety of family-friendly activities, including the RE/MAX Kids Zone and Tots Zone. Finish off the evening with a unique light display and watch the City’s first ever live drone show, sponsored by Clearview Demolition. 

“Canada Day in Chilliwack is always a great time for the whole family,” said Mayor Popove. “There are plenty of activities for all ages this year, and I look forward to watching Chilliwack’s first drone show on July 1 with everyone at Exhibition Field!”
