The Public Health Unit provides a number services to our community such as:
- Nursing services which include:
- screening, assessment, counselling, referral, follow-up and health promotion activities for all age groups, as well as communicable disease control
- Speech language pathology, audiology, nutrition and dental health
- Programs that focus on health education
- Prenatal and postnatal services
- Childhood immunizations
