| Description: Join local Chilliwack author, Laura Cameron, in celebration of and to learn more about her recently published book, Circlebee: A book about Circle & bees. This event is free and open to the public. The event will be held at the Aboriginal Gathering Place @ the Canada Education Park located at the University of the Fraser Valley campus in Chilliwack, B.C. (Rm#A1457, 45190 Caen Ave.), on Saturday, January 18th, 2014, 1-4pm. Speaker presentations will commence at 1:15pm, followed by a meet & greet, cake & coffee reception between 3-4pm. Come and learn more about the Circle process and its significance for today as a community-building tool, for environmental education purposes, for empowering & sustaining collaboration, and for taking care of self, others and the natural world. See how you can draw upon the building blocks of Circle in your unique situation (e.g. at home, at work, in the classroom, with your group/organization, etc.). |
