| Description: Art Sampler Series with Judith Pickard Have you wanted to try an art medium but don’t know which to choose, what to buy, or what materials you need? This series is designed to answer those questions for the art curious or those who just need to brush up on old skills. Choose all 4 classes or the just ones you are interested in: Drawing Saturday, January 18, 10:00am - 12:00pm Learn the basics of drawing (subject will be a face). Please bring an 8X11” size photo that you would like to draw. Different transfer methods will be taught. Extra photos will be available. Watercolor Basics Saturday, January 25, 10:00am - 12:00pm Learn all the basics, such as the different washes you need to use to paint a small landscape painting of your own. Painting on Yupo Saturday, February 1, 10:00am - 12:00pm We will use water color paints on this synthetic paper for some surprising results. Learn about transparency and wax resist while having fun creating a small painting to take home. Pastel Basics Saturday, February 8, 10:00am - 12:00pm In this class you will be introduced to different kinds of pastels and papers while creating a water bird/lakeside themed art piece.
