Work:

 The addition to City Hall completed in 2023 has led to an increase in parking demand, at many times leaving staff and patrons to park several minutes’ walk from City Hall. This is creating tension amongst staff and residents who can’t park close to the building, and neighbors who are finding it hard to park in front of their own home. 

There is pressure to complete this work in a timely manner and due to the parking challenges here, during construction the Contractor will not be able to utilize nearby City lots for parking or materials to maximize parking hall for City Hall. 

 The scope of work for the project could include but not be limited to: 

• Installation of storm sewer piping, 

• Installation of sanitary sewer piping, 

• Installation of water mains, 

• Installation of street lighting; 

• Construction of parking lot sub-grade; 

• Construction of concrete curbs and sidewalks 

• Installation of asphalt surface; 

• Vegetation removal; 

• Line painting; and 

• Landscape removal and reinstatement
