The Sardis Park Artisan and Farmer Market is held each Wednesday between May 3 and August 30. Vendor set up is 2:30 pm each Wednesday and the market starts promptly at 4pm and closes at 8pm.

This is a community focused farmers market that runs every (except June 2nd) Friday from 5pm until dusk. There is always live music, food trucks, and lots of local vendors that you are able to support.

This farmers market runs every Friday with the exception of June 2nd. We will have a market in Yarrow Pioneer park from 5pm-dusk on May 26, June 9, June 16, June 23, June 30, July 7, July 14, July 21, July 28, August 4, August 11, August 18, August 25, September 1st.

The Downtown Chilliwack Community Market takes place Sundays from 10am to 2pm, from May 28th to October 15th, on the traditional and unceded territory of the Stó:lō Peoples. Our market of local growers, gatherers, bakers, crafters and makers is a space where new relationships can form and thrive around those offerings, connecting the people of Chilliwack with quality food and goods. As part of the Downtown Chilliwack Farmer’s Market family, you can expect a friendly community environment, marketing support, and boundless enthusiasm. DCCM is an inclusive space and works towards achieving accessibility for all.

Fun for all the family as you support the programs we offer our Chilliwack seniors and their caregivers. There will be a bake sale, garage sale, barbecue luncheon, cake walks, chidren's activities, guessing games, and door prize draws!

The Ride for Water is a premier gravel event held in the beautiful Chilliwack River Valley. All profit from this race goes into building a clean water system for the people of Southern Ethiopia who currently have NO access to clean water.

From 9am-3pm . Lots of free parking. Over 20 vendors selling all kinds of plants and garden decor. Food vendors too.

Members of the Chilliwack RCMP will be at the Vedder Rotary Trail (near the dog parks) from 10:30 to 11:30 connecting with community members over a cup of coffee. No speeches, no agenda, just casual conversation aimed at connecting with our community.

Join us on June 9, 2023, International Archives Day, at 7:00pm for a free screening of UNARCHIVED. The screening will take place at the Chilliwack Archives, located at 9291 Corbould Street (Evergreen Hall). In this new feature documentary, co-directors Hayley Gray and Elad Tzadok highlight community archives from across British Columbia to reveal some of what has been erased from the official record. The people and places left out of traditional archives and museums are often determined by the dominant power. Local knowledge keepers are undoing these omissions and hand-fashioning a more inclusive history. Through a collage of personal interviews, archival footage, and deeply rooted memories, the past, present and future come together, fighting for a space where everyone is seen and everyone belongs. History is what we all make of it.

The Chilliwack RCMP is pleased to invite the public to our Open House on Saturday, June 10 from 10am to 2pm. This free, family-friendly event will showcase the different police tools, techniques and resources used to help keep our community safe. Featuring: -Detachment tours -Appearance by Sgt. Safety Bear -Integrated Police Dog Services -Police vehicles -Photo opportunities with Members in red serge. -BBQ (by donation) provided by Chilliwack Fire Department -Face painting and much more!

Majority of events will be held outside. Parking available in the front and side lots of the Main Detachment.

Chilliwack Community Services and Neels Heating is pleased to announce our third annual Tour de Chilliwack Family Bike Event in support of our 39 programs at CCS. The event will take place on Saturday, June 10, 2023 and will take families through the beautiful country on the north side of Chilliwack with portions along the Canyon to Coast Trail. It will include a bike ride (your choice of 10km, 20km, 30km, 50km, or 100km), a stellar Tour de Chilliwack t-shirt and games along the way. New this year, enjoy food trucks, live music, beer garden, silent auction, games, and face painting at the end of the day. And don’t forget the opportunity to collect pledges to help support your community!

The Ryder Lake Ramble self-guided tour of farms and gardens in Ryder Lake is back for the 22nd year! Saturday, June 17th, 2023 from 10 am to 4pm

Admission is by donation with a suggested $10 minimum per person or $20 per family. All funds raised will go towards renovations and repairs to our community Hall. Please come to the Ryder Lake Hall, 49265 Elk View Rd, Chilliwack to pickup your entry wristband and map.

Three Peaks Recreation would like to host a fun run fundraiser on June 17, 2023. Three Peaks Recreation is a non-profit organization that works with at risk young adults ages 18-24. We aspire to help everyone find community and belonging. This event will be a family friendly event including a 5km and a 10km run/walk.

We would set up trail markers for both a 5k and 10k run and then hopefully have some food trucks come in and bring the community together while sharing about our organization.

A local, Christy McLeod, turns 40 on June 15. To celebrate, she decided to host a run, to encourage community, raise $10,000 (from $40 sign up fees) for an organization she knows first hand changes people's lives, to bring people together and to encourage people to train and get outside. This date does not have any other major runs in the lower mainland of this length, so it was a good idea! Christy has run Loop the Vedder and is involved with a local running club, and so felt it would be a wonderful thing to do. The organization Girls Who Leap is a recognized Charitable Status organization. Although Christy is a local from Chilliwack, she has not been here that many years, so chose an organization she knew first hand was helping people. The race will provide a 21km, 10km and 5km option.

The Veganist, is a vegan grocer boutique that focuses on working with local businesses and we have been open as of June 18th 2022! Not only will it be a safe space for vegans to shop comfortably it will also have a section for skincare, apparel, and other non-food related items. No matter what your reason is for supporting veganism or living a plant-based life style, we hope to have something for everyone. Whether that’s your weekly groceries, monthly treats, special occasions, or a gift for a loved one – we want to be there and serve your needs as a new member of the Fraser Valley’s vegan community. The festival will take place on June 17th, 2023 from 11am to 6pm

Join Wilma's Transition Society down at Vedder Park on June 21st, 2023 from 12pm to 4pm. We are holding a community event for awareness for Indigenous Peoples Day. This event will include activities like food trucks, live music and traditional Indigenous drummers and ceremonies, bouncy castles and slides, information booths/tables, face painting.

Join us on Friday, June 23, 2023 at 3:00 pm to get a behind-the-scenes look at the Chilliwack Archives. You will learn all about how to utilize the Archives, plus receive a sneak peek of the Archival and Collections Storage. Tours take place at the Chilliwack Archives located in Evergreen Hall (9291 Corbould Street).
