Description: The Great Blue Heron Nature Reserve will be hosting our annual Family Nature Festival March 31st & April 1st, from 10:00 am - 4:00 pm! Join us for a day full of kid-friendly activities to get you and your loved ones outdoors and connected with nature and your community. Come explore the nature reserve on guided tours, take a mindfulness class with our Yoga instructor, try your hand at children's and adult's art classes with an accomplished local artist, bring the little ones for a visit to our craft station and touch tables, and more! Plus, you'll have a chance to connect with local conservation & community organizations - Streams Foundation Canada, Fraser Valley Conservancy, & Coastal Painted Turtle Project - and hear about the amazing work being done to protect nature in our area! All events are free thanks to our amazing volunteers and partner organizations. No registration is required to attend. |
