The City of Chilliwack is requesting Quotations from qualified Proponents who possess the required experience and resources for the completion of the Community Action Initiative, Breaking Barriers Project in accordance with the specifications specified herein. Proponents are expected to be familiar with the local area and have expertise working with people who use substances, peer engagement, stigma reduction, convening collaborative projects, public engagement, and developing systems to address complex challenges within communities. It is expected that the consultant will work in close collaboration with City Staff and relevant project advisors. The goal of this project is to plan and develop peer led/involved employment program to assist in responding to growing concerns around substance use, mental health, and homelessness; and, address the barrier of stigma around substance use/users by partnering with the New Matrix Meal project team to design events targeted towards particular population segments most impacted by issues in the downtown core. |
