Rain Barrel Rebate Program

The City of Chilliwack's Rain Barrel Rebate Program will cover 50% of the cost (before tax) up to a maximum rebate value of $80 for a new rain barrel that was purchased on or after January 1, 2022. 

Details

• There are a limited number of rebates available per year.
• Only one (1) rebate per owner of a household in Chilliwack is permitted. 
• Residents must be connected to City of Chilliwack water.
• Residents who have purchased a rain barrel from the City previously are not eligible for the rebate in 2023. 
• Rebates will be evaluated and selected based on a first come, first served basis. 

How to Apply

To apply, please download the application below or visit City Hall to pick up a copy. 

In addition to the application, you will need to provide a copy of the receipt, showing the date it was purchased, and a picture of the rain barrel installed.
