Join us for the first Totes for Teens event, a hygiene drive for basic essentials for the youth at the Chilliwack Cyrus Centre, presented by Payton and Buckle along with Culture Co and 89.5 The Drive! On September 25th, from 10 am to 2 pm at the old Decades parking lot across from the Cyrus Centre, help us reach our goal of filling 100 backpacks with hygiene items such as shampoo, deodorant and all other necessities. There will be food trucks, swag giveaways and donations being sorted on site. Monetary donations will be accepted along with physical items. There will be a drive-thru donation area as well for those who wish to donate that way and donations can be dropped off starting September 9th at Payton and Buckle for those who cannot attend on the 25th. Generation Health is a FREE and VIRTUAL 10-week healthy lifestyle program for children and their families, delivered through the YMCA of Greater Vancouver and in partnership with the Childhood Obesity Foundation. Program participants will meet online once a week to learn about healthy eating, physical activity, goal setting, body image, self-esteem and more! There will be 4 programs days to choose from: Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays or Fridays from 6:30-8:30pm. This program requires prior registration and screening.
