Recreation and Culture Strategic Plan
In September of 2012, PERC was retained to undertake a planning study that would chart a course, at a strategic level, for the evolution of public parks, recreation and cultural services in the City of Chilliwack.
The Strategic Plan will be used as a basis for planning and decision making for all publicly sponsored parks, recreation and cultural services for the next ten years.
At a regular meeting of Council on November 5, 2013, Council adopted the “2014 – 2023 Recreation and Culture Strategic Plan” and directed staff to work toward implementing the recommendations outlined in the plan.
