We've teamed up with other Fraser Valley municipalities to facilitate mobile businesses by eliminating the requirement to obtain a business licence in every municipality in which they provide a product or service. Introducing the new Inter-municipal Business Licence (IMBL). The IMBL licenses a business to operate in 13 participating municipalites in the Fraser Valley:

• City of Abbotsford
• City of Chilliwack
• District of Hope
• City of Langley
• Township of Langley
• City of Maple Ridge
• District of Mission
• City of Pitt Meadows
• City of Surrey
• Corporation of Delta
• District of Kent
• Harrison Hot Springs

Who is Eligible?

Construction contractors (trades) or any construction industry related businesses or professional who provides a product or service across these participating municipalities.

Please apply for the IML in your home municipality. Your home municipality must be one of the 11 participating Municipalities. The annual cost is an additional $250 (in addition to resident business licence) and will ensure licensing in all 11 participating municipalities. (See Application PDF Below)

Will I Need Other Licences?
Only if you are operating in a non-participating municipality. Mobile businesses will still need a primary business licence in their home municipality.
