The Greendale Elementary Community
School Society (GECSS) is a non-
profit organization formed to provide
social, educational and recreational
activities for all in our community.
Use of the Greendale Elementary
Community School’s facilities has been
made possible due to a partnership
between School District #33 and the
City of Chilliwack. GECSS gratefully
acknowledges funding received by the
City of Chilliwack.
This season we are
pleased to offer every
week:
Karate
Monday evenings and Saturday
mornings. Further information available

Zumba
For all ages and abilities. First class of
the new year, Wednesday January 8th
at 7.15pm. Jane has all the registration
details at janesandvefitness@hotmail.
com.
Fusion
A pilates/ yoga course to stretch out
all the blues of the winter. Classes
are on Tuesdays beginning January
7th at 7.15pm. Contact Jane at

attendance at both classes.
Acting Outright
A performance art class for children
Grade 1 and older. Led by Linda McRae,
a new season will begin on Monday
January 13th from 2:00-3:30pm. Contact

Acting Outright for Teens
A new season begins on Monday
January 13th from 3.30-5pm. This
performance art class is for middle
school aged students and older.

Lamaze Pre-Natal
Classes

Little Kickers Soccer
Canada’s most popular pre-school
soccer class for children aged 2-5 years,
meet every Thursday starting January
9th from 4.45pm. More details and

Yoga for Every Body
Gain strength, improve flexibility and
find that inner calm. A slow gentle yoga
class suitable for all body shapes and
ages. First class of 2014, Thursday 9th
January at 7pm. Register with Dee on

classes for $48; drop-in $10 per class.
Hip Hop for fun
Enjoy dance every Saturday morning
from 9:00-9:45 am. Classes for 6-10

Certification Course
One day course on Saturday January
11th 2014; perfect for anyone looking
to work in the food industry. Course

Red Cross Babysitting
Course
For children aged 11 years and
above ready to become a responsible
babysitter. Saturday March 1st 9am-
5pm. Cost $45 per person. Register with
the Community Schools Coordinator.
Home Alone Safety Plus
First Aid Course
For children aged 10 years and up,
ready to stay home alone. Saturday
February 1st 9am-1pm. Cost $30 per
person. Register with the Community
Schools Coordinator.
