Highway Works Application and Permit
A highway works permit, or lane closure permit, is needed when work is planned to be completed on roads or sidewalks in Chilliwack. To apply for a permit, please ensure you complete the following:
- Fill out the Highway Works Application
- Provide a Traffic Management Plan (TMP)
- Provide a valid Chilliwack business license
- Submit a certificate of insurance naming the City of Chilliwack as an additional insurer with commercial liability insurance of not less than $5 million and automobile liability insurance of not less than $2 million for all owned and leased vehicles
- Submit your application and needed documents at least 5 days prior to commencement of work to [email protected].
