Multiple City of Chilliwack road infrastructure projects were completed in 2023 thanks in part to $3.14 million in funding from the Government of Canada’s Canada Community-Building Fund.

City of Chilliwack’s Summer Watering Restrictions Now Begin May 1

The City of Chilliwack has adjusted their annual summer watering restrictions to begin May 1 instead of June 1, to proactively conserve water for the dry summer months.

Roof Replacement & Services

The Scope of Work for this Project will include but not be limited to: Removal and disposal of existing end of life roofing components. Remedial works on any compromised roofing insulation or roofing components. Capacity to install roofing types including but not limited to: TPO, EPDM, SPS, asphalt shingle or any typical roofing type as defined by the project roofing specifications. Supply of labour, materials and equipment necessary to install new roofing systems including carpentry, flashing and any other required components to complete a watertight roofing system.

2024 Traffic Count Program

The City of Chilliwack is requesting Quotations for the supply of all labour, supervision, equipmentand materials, where specified, to conduct the Work in accordance with the Work Requirementsand Specifications contained herein on an as and when needed basis. The City requires Traffic Count Services at locations described on the attached location tables. TheWork will include, but is not limited to: Automatic traffic counts will be taken for twenty-four (24) hours at each station in one (1) hourincrements, separated by direction and given a daily total. Access to the permanent stations or datalink will be provided as necessary. Four-hour manual intersection counts to include vehicles, pedestrians and bicycles will be taken from7:00am to 9:00am and again from 4:00pm to 6:00pm in fifteen (15) minute increments. Wherespecified, afternoon peak hours may be specified instead from 2pm until 4pm due to school trafficpeaks. Seven-hour manual intersection counts to include vehicles, pedestrians and bicycles will be takenfrom 7:00am to 9:00am, 11am – 1pm and again from 2:00pm to 5:00pm or 3:00pm to 6:00pm infifteen (15) minute increments.

Vendor List for Plumbing Services

The City has identified the need to establish a Vendor List of pre-qualified contractors for the performance of certain plumbing services on an “as and when requested” basis throughout Chilliwack, BC. The purpose of this RFPQ is to pre-qualify Proponents to be registered to the Vendor List

Sourcewell and Canoe Procurement Group of Canada

Notice is hereby given; the City of Chilliwack intends to participate in one or more procurements conducted by Sourcewell and Canoe Procurement Group of Canada between January 1, 2024 to December 31, 2024.

Hired Equipment Services

The Contractor will be expected to provide labour and equipment necessary for meeting the requirements of the individual project or work request. All equipment shall be pre-approved by the City prior to the commencement of any work. The Contractor will also, prior to the commencement of work on-site, become familiar with important site-specific pre-construction sheet and may participate in the pre-construction meeting.The Services will include a wide variety of small to large scale projects at various locations within the City of Chilliwack on an “as and when” required basis. The Services include without limitation the supply and delivery of material, the provision of skilled labour, and equipment to perform the Services. The Contractor does not need to offer all equipment in order for its Application to be considered by the City
