Yarrow Community School
The new Yarrow Community School
is open for business and we are
very excited to welcome everyone
to come and see us. We have a
beautiful large gym, a multi-purpose
room - with courtyard and kitchen, and
meeting rooms that are available for
rent, not to mention the new outdoor
spaces with a tennis/basketball court,
and a ball hockey court and 2 nice
playgrounds. Our volunteer, non-
profit organization which oversees
the ‘Community component’ is always
working on identifying community
needs and encouraging participation in
our programs for all ages and abilities.
Yarrow Community School is very
grateful for the support from the City
of Chilliwack and SD #33. It is due to
these successful partnerships that we
are able to offer programming to our
neighbours and larger community.

Puddle Jumpers Daycare
We still have some spots available for
Summer Care and we are accepting
registration for the fall in our Licensed
Group daycare for children 30 months
-5 yrs. Full and part time rates/Family
rates for 3 or more children in our
childcare programs. Registration pkgs.
available at the community school office
or drop by and see us in our brand new
home.

Pickle Ball
is the fastest growing sport and Yarrow
is not getting left behind. We have a
very enthusiastic bunch coming out to
our gym and playing and they want to
keep it going through the summer. Drop
by before the end of June and see this
in action…Monday evenings 6:30-9:00
and Thurs. evenings 7:00-9:00. It’s
only a toonie for drop in and everyone
is encouraged to come and give it a
try. There is some loaner equipment
for first timers. For more info check out

First Steps
Mini-Tennis Program
The First Steps Mini-Tennis Program
is running and very popular, there
were many disappointed kids unable
to get in this session. If you are
still interested in giving this great
beginner tennis program a try look
for the Free Family Tennis at the
Canada Day Celebrations at the
Landing Leisure Centre. For more

Fall Tykes Soccer League
Boys and girls 4-7 yrs. old. Love to play
soccer and want to play in our local, fun
league? This is the league for you! Our
soccer league is going off site again this
year (still working on our fields) Games
will be played at John Calvin school in
Yarrow. Registration is only $40/player
for 8 weeks of running and kicking
Saturday mornings 10am.! Starts Sept.
14th.
