The Chilliwack Community band are performing for the Battle of Britain Ceremonies on SEPT 22nd at 1:00pm at the Chilliwack Memorial behind the MUSEUM.

The Chilliwack Songs of Praise Orchestra(CSOPO) is a group of enthusiastic musicians including full woodwind and string sections. The CSOPO usually performs at 6 different venues in a season. The format always includes numerous Sing Along favourites. Upcoming is a special at St. Paul's Church on School Street November 3, at 3:30 pm. Next is a Christmas special at the Alliance Church on Young Road. Hope to see you there.

Join the Friends of the Chilliwack Libraries Society on the first Wednesday of every month. This volunteer organization supports the library through advocacy, fundraising and assistance with various projects and programs. New friends are always welcome!

It is never too early to begin learning logic and coding! Cubetto is a friendly wooden robot that teaches children the basics of computer programming through stories and activities. Cubetto wants to go on a winter adventure and needs your help to get through a winding maze. For children ages 3 to 8, but families are welcome to participate together. Screen free!

Join yoga instructor Candice Baldwin from Inner Vision Yoga in an open discussion on how the tools of yoga can be used to release and heal trauma in survivors. The discussion will be followed by a brief practice and Q&A. Registration required.

All "uked" up and no place to jam? All levels of experience are welcome at our fun and relaxed ukulele circle. This program is in partnership with the Chilliwack Academy of Music. Space is limited. Please arrive early to avoid disappointment.

Enjoy an ancient Chinese Tea ceremony. Learn artistic knot tying, a Chinese folk art. Practice Chinese calligraphy as it fosters peaceful harmony. Organized by XinRu Center.

1 pm – 3 pm

Over the course of eight weeks at the CPG comedy improv workshop, you will learn the fundamentals that make improvisation such a unique and exciting format. Not only will you spend eight weeks laughing, improv also offers a host of side benefits: - improve auditioning skills - build confidence on stage - develop active listening and communication - boost teamwork and collaboration skills - lose the fear of failure.

With literally hundreds of exercises and improv games to draw from, Dan will cater the workshop to your skill level, so all are welcome.

No class March 6.

An enriching experience with a combination of art and nature education! Ages 5 – 14, divided into a younger group and an older group. Each group will have a hands-on Wildlife Art class and an Environmental Science class based outdoors, with a short break between classes. Runs from 9:30-12:30 pm. No class on Family Day (Feb.17th). Love to read and talk about books? Can’t make it down to the library on your own? Join our monthly BeTween Book Club and bring along your mom, grandpa, sister (you decide) who also loves to read! We read books, have lively discussions, eat snacks and meet other book lovers! Recommended for ages 9-12.
