The City of Chilliwack is requesting expressions of interest from qualified contractors who possess the required personnel, experience, equipment and resources to undertake roadside and dyke mowing within the boundaries of the City of Chilliwack. 

Roadside shoulder mowing is undertaken annually to ensure that vegetation growth does not impair driver sightlines and create safety concerns. 

Dyke mowing is undertaken annually to prevent the growth of vegetation on the landside dyke slopes and top of riverside dyke slopes.  This allows for the mandatory annual dyke inspections as well as preserving the structural integrity of the dyke.
