The City of Chilliwack is requesting expressions of interest from qualified Proponents who possess all the required personnel, experience and resources in Hummingbird document management, imaging, workflow and record management systems with imaging, web and workflow components.  The City intends to use these systems for controlling the capture, classification, storage, retrieval, revision, sharing, reuse, protection and disposition of documents and records stored in electronic and non-electronic formats.  The goal of the City is to increase the accessibility, security and control of all types of information produced by the City.  The document management, records management, imaging, web and workflow components should be of a modular nature so they can be implemented independently over multiple years.  The City of Chilliwack currently owns a number of Hummingbird licenses, therefore, other manufacturers document/record management software will not be considered.

A pre-selection process will be used to identify a maximum of three Proponents to submit a comprehensive proposal for this assignment.

Sealed envelopes clearly marked on the outside with the Proponent's name, address, and "RFEI HUMMINGBIRD DOCUMENT/RECORD MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS IMPLEMENTATION" will be received by the undersigned no later than 3:00 p.m. local time on November 25th, 2003.

RFEI documents can also be obtained from the Main Reception desk of the City of Chilliwack on or after November 5th, 2003.
