Work:

The work in general is for the supply of all labor and equipment to perform selective removal of vegetation adjacent to the Vedder River from the Highway 1 Bridge to No. 3 Road on the right bank, and from No. 3 road to the Abbotsford/Chilliwack City Limits on the left bank.

Removal of vegetation shall be in strict accordance with the "Vegetation management in the Vedder Canal", attached at Appendix B.  The contractor will be responsible for "flagging" trees/shrubs/branches that are to be removed in accordance with the plan.  A City Representative will review the vegetation scheduled for removal prior to the commencement of work.
